The Station North Arts and Entertainment District recenlty announced the first round of projects to receive its “Think Big” grant.
Funded by the National Endowment for the Arts and William G. Baker Jr. Memorial Fund, “Think Big” showcases the neighborhood’s diverse artistic talent and an array of supportive venues. And there’s still time for artists to apply for two more rounds of grant awards.
Ben Stone, executive director of the Station North Arts and Entertainment District stopped by to discuss what’s behind the grant and he brought along artists from two “Think Big” recipients, Ruby Fulton and Britt Olson-Ecker of Rhymes With Opera and Neil Sanzgiri of Spiral Cinema, who have some unique and lively events coming up.
