Baltimore Hit Parade – Thee Lexington Arrows playlist (Sept. 24)

Baltimore garage rockers Thee Lexington Arrows perform live on Baltimore Hit Parade.

Since Baltimore Hit Parade is a specialty show, it doesn’t register in our online playlist — at least not yet. For now, I’ll be posting the playlists to each week’s episode.

Here’s our playlist from Tuesday Sept. 24, which featured house band Thee Lexington Arrows, one of Baltimore’s best garage rock bands.

Fronted by Kathleen Wilson, Thee Lexington Arrows just released a fiery new album, “Dog That Bites.” Wilson talked about how the band got its start several years ago playing gritty dive bars and clubs in and around Baltimore. And guitarist Alex Fine, an illustrator who has drawn hundreds of posters for local shows, discussed the one that sticks out most in his mind. It was pretty gross.

Eureka Birds – “And We Are All the Same”

Mink Hollow – “Ghostwriting”

Noah Kain – “Life’s So Pretty”

Thee Lexington Arrows – “Billy Liar” (live)

The Slow Jerks – “Watch Out”

Dungeon Kids – “Is There Light”

The Woolly Moon – “The Whiskey Blues”

Thee Lexington Arrows  – “Come On” (live)

Baltimore Backtrack: The Magic Tones – “Cool, Cool Baby”

Thee Lexington Arrows – “Dog That Bites” (live)

Carl Filipiak and the Jimi Jazz Band – “I Got Your Mantra”

Timothy Bracken – “Lose Your Head”

Small Sur – “Juana Maria”

Thee Lexington Arrows – “Gimme Shelter” (live)

Outro music: August Flight Gordon – “Rio”
