The original artist is a devolved new-wave band out of Akron, OH. They wrote this one for their 1980 album Freedom of Choice.

The new show at the American Visionary Art Museum is still a couple of months away, but The Shadow is already excited about this artist coming to town to participate. He fronts this band, that uses Vaseline, magazines, and tangerines.
