Today, we’ll chat with spoken word artist, slam poet, and YA teaching artist Femi the Drifish as part of our monthly smARTbeats series where we spotlight a teaching artist working in MD schools through the non-profit Young Audiences of Maryland. We’ll be playing some tunes about art today, in honor of a month-long art exhibit happening here at WTMD. It’s called Rhythm & Muse, and features musically inspired works by Maryland artists.  We’ll also be Talking Tunes with Brian and Tom – today’s tune is “Move On Up” by Curtis Mayfield.

Enjoy!
