The WTMD Film Series, in partnership with Towson University’s Department of Electronic Media and Film, presents “Muscle Shoals” March 15.

With the recent passing of Rick Hall, the heart and soul of the legendary FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, the WTMD Film Series is looking back at Hall’s incredible life and work with a screening of the acclaimed documentary “Muscle Shoals” on Thursday March 15.

FAME Studios churned out hit after hit, from artists like Aretha Franklin, Wilson Pickett, Etta James and more. It helped define a generation of music across all genres, which still resonates today.

The WTMD Film Series, in partnership with Towson University’s Department of Electronic Media and Film, presents “Muscle Shoals” Thursday March 15 at 1 Olympic Place.

We’ll have popcorn, beer and soda. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the movie starts at 8 p.m.
