Evenings with Kelly Bell runs 7 p.m.-10 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays on WTMD. Made possible in part by Pink Whitney.
Welcome to Evenings with Kelly Bell, a nightly showcase of your favorite WTMD music mix with its own features and flavor, hosted by Baltimore musician Kelly Bell.
A true renaissance man, Kelly has been a wrestler, actor, bouncer and, of course, singer. In the past two decades, he and his band have headlined some of Maryland’s biggest stages, and entertained U.S. military around the world. But this is the first time he’s hosted a radio show.
Each week, Kelly curates new features like the Phat Blues Cafe and Homegrown Headliner, where he builds sets of music that inspire him and also highlights some of his fellow musicians from the region.
“I’m so excited to be part of the WTMD family,” Kelly said. “I’ve done just about everything in show business. Just when I thought there were no mountains left to climb, WTMD said, ‘Wait one second, Phat Blues Man – we’ve got something for ya.'”
Evenings with Kelly Bell, made possible in part by Pink Whitney, airs 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, a time slot previously held by longtime WTMD DJ Don Rogers, who retired at the end of January.
