Scott began his career in public radio in 1986 at WFPL/WFPK in his hometown of Louisville, KY as host of a weekly blues program. Over the years, he filled many positions and worked his way up to award winning Afternoon Drive Host. Scott was also instrumental in guiding WFPK in changing formats and becoming an early adopter of the AAA music format in 1996. In 2006, he relocated to Milwaukee, WI to be part of the launch team for a brand new AAA start-up, WYMS, as Music Director and Afternoon Drive Host.
In 2010, he accepted the Program Director position at WTMD, Baltimore and in 2016 was named the station’s General Manager. Scott has also worked as a photographer, television producer, public relations manager, record store manager, talent buyer for a live music club, and ran his own record label. Oh yeah, he was also the bourbon buyer for a killer liquor store in Louisville, KY.
